Driving Dynamics
The new Scion FKP37 is a technology touring power of the day, which can ignite very strong emotions. The most unusual innovation is the hybrid system, which provides maximum power with minimal weight. The innovative, lightweight construction uses a lithium-ion supercapacitor, which is three times more powerful than a single-weight battery. It is a low-voltage 48V system that allows maximum currents of up to 600A. This current driven electric motor delivers torque directly to the rear wheel engine and uses inertia to recharge the capacitor during braking.
